I'm very glad you asked! It is a verse in the Bible which says, "But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8) You see every single human being since Adam, has been born a sinner. (Romans 3:23) We are born into the bondage of sin and do things that displease God. (Romans 3:10-11) The punishment for these things is death, physically and spiritually. (Revelation 21:8; Romans 6:23) But God made a way for us to escape the punishment and live forever with Him in heaven. (John 14:2-3,6) Jesus Christ, the only Son of God came to earth as a man, lived a perfect life, died on a cross to bear our sins, and rose again the third day. (John 3:16; Philippians 2:6-8; I Peter 2:21-22, 24; I Corithians 15:3-4) Now all we have to do is believe that Jesus is the Christ, that He did all that He said He would do and trust Him, and we are saved forever. (Acts 16:31; Ephesian 2:8-9)
